On July 1st I was interviewed on the DIS Unplugged Disneyland edition podcast. The show was uploaded on July 4th. It was a lot of fun! My thanks to the DID Unplugged crew Tom, Mary Jo, Nancy, Tony and Michael. You can listen to the podcast here. Check it out!

  1. Hi - Just listened to the podcasts about your trip! Very exciting! As a San Diego native, I have a few recommendations for you. Hopefully you are checking this.

Vegas Dinner: Samba Brazillian Barbecue @ Mirage

San Diego: Phil's BBQ (main restaurant in Sports Arena area, but they also have a counter service at Petco Park at the Padres games). The BEST barbecue in San Diego! Also, Point Loma Seafood (northwest of downtown) offers great fresh fish items with a nice marina view. Want Mexican, then Lolita's is a popular counter service chain and there is one near Petco Park and the Gaslamp. Something different...Afghan food at Chopahn in Downtown San Diego. We ate here for dinner during Comic Con and it was amazing.

San Diego sites: Drive over the Coronado Bridge and check out the historic Hotel Del Coronado!
